Voyage Risk Assessment before departure
Before you sail, Orbital analysts assess the voyage: the route, the threats along it, and how they bear on your vessel. You receive a Voyage Risk Assessment with a clear rating and the reasoning behind it, so the master and operator plan against the same picture.
Port Risk Assessment for the destination
We assess the destination port and its approaches, covering the security, criminality, regulatory and operational factors that affect a safe call. The Port Risk Assessment sets out what to expect on arrival and alongside, and helps you prepare the call and brief the crew.
Vessel monitoring throughout the transit, with alerts
Orbital monitors the vessel through the transit and tracks the security picture along the route. If the situation changes in a way that affects you, we alert you. Monitoring runs for the duration of the voyage, not only at departure.
Coordination with naval operations and reporting schemes
Where it applies, we help you coordinate with naval operations and reporting schemes for the area, for example EUNAVFOR ASPIDES, NCAGS and UKMTO. We align the voyage with the relevant reporting so your vessel stays connected to the military and reporting picture where it matters.
